Dr. VanBeck lives in the local community with his wife and two young children. He is an accomplished award winning concert pianist with a master’s and doctorate of musical arts. In his “life before dentistry,” Peter travelled and performed with several symphony orchestras across the US and Europe. After deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps, he went back to school and received his degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He remains an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Washtenaw District Dental Society. Dr. VanBeck is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys speaking in Spanish with his Spanish-speaking patients. He is also an avid reader of Spanish literature, an accomplished tennis player, and enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team.

Dr. Masabni earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut and his Bachelor of Oral and Dental Surgery from BAU. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he served as chief resident. He is specially trained in Periodontology, Implantology & IV sedation, and received a Master of Science. Dr. Masabni is currently a clinical affiliate professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, encouraging the next generation of dentists to have the same passion for periodontology.

Originally from Vancouver BC, Shelora made her way to our Ann Arbor in 2018 via stops in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. She has worked in the dental field since 1994, and graduated from the Allegany College of Maryland with an associates degree in applied sciences in 1997. As a registered dental hygienist, she gets great satisfaction in working with her patients to positively impact their overall oral health and well being. Exploring Ann Arbor with her husband and two kids has been a wonderful experience.

Monica graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with a long list of degrees and certifications — all of which are put to good use in Dr. VanBeck's office. True joy comes from seeing her patients make positive changes in their self care and helping them achieve optimal oral health care outcomes. With Dr. Lee since 2014, Monica has developed a special gift of calming nerves when necessary and at educating and motivating patients to improve their home oral care practices.

Treatment estimates, financial arrangements, insurance verifications and scheduling are just a few of the many tasks that Danielle manages behind the scenes to ensure a positive experience and for all Dr. VanBeck's patients. As a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma WA, Dani found comfort in her role of assisting patients on their journey and helping them afford the treatment they need. Being a patient advocate comes naturally after spending 9 years as a competitive cheerleader and coach!
